Eosinophilic Esophagitis (EoE) is a chronic, immune-mediated inflammatory condition of the esophagus. This disease is characterized by symptoms such as difficulty swallowing (dysphagia), food getting stuck in the esophagus, and the formation of esophageal strictures.
EoE is marked by esophageal dysfunction, which may include vomiting, difficulty swallowing, and challenges with feeding.
